Turkey hunting around Stillwater

Hey all,

I will be going to Stillwater for my job all next week and hate to miss my turkey hunting.

Is there any public land available to hunt on?

Looks like the closest public land is at Keystone over on the east side of Pawnee county. The wildlife dept. website says there aren't many turkeys in the area, but you could always give it a shot, bad day in the woods is still better than a good day at work.

Its about a 45 minute drive from Stillwater, but Kaw WMA has turkey.
