I was sorting through some family properties today. I found a unissed 1903A3 still in the wrap and covered in comsoline. Should I leave it wrapped or open in up and clean it up? What do you think the value of something like this may be if I ever sell it?
Are there any markings on the box or the wrapping that the rifle was stored in?

No one's gonna be able to tell you how much the rifle is worth without unwrapping it and inspecting it. Just because it's greased and wrapped doesn't mean it's unissued. Even old, beat up, but serviceable rifles were stored that way.

There's a 1903 up for auction on the CMP that's wrapped/greased and the CMP says they have no idea of the condition of the rifle.

I know a lot of M1 rifles were returned by the Greeks wrapped and preserved in grease. Not sure if 1903s were done the same way.

Sorry, I just gave this to the Trustee to add to existing inventories. I'll try and get pictures and more info and post them soon. The elderly owner said it was unissued and has had it for approximately 50 years. It was uncovered just enough that I could tell it was a 1903A3. It seemed to be in excellent condition but covered in Cosmoline. I was afraid to uncover it any more due to ruining any potential value.
