I worked for the USPS. I didnt make it 2 weeks. Biggest group of incompetent morons I have ever seen gathered in 1 place.
I bet that was an interesting 2 weeks. I’m guessing the supervisor version of your story is a bit different than yours. Some people don’t like it and some can’t hack it.

No the story is pretty standard. This office lost 14 of 17 people in less than 30 days. One guy was from another office too, He had been there for about 4 years as a sub, transferred to the local office and quit within a week. We got problems at our local office.

I went to Staples and bought a cardboard tube to mail the calendar in. Of all the magazines and catalogs I get usually Gun Test is the only one that gets damaged. I'm sure you remember the time the Ponca Post Office shipped ammo for me. Not that I know the Gun Test are damaged by the Ponca Post Office.
You were able to ship ammo USPS? Isn't that illegal?

Let’s play the “me too” bash USPS game today. I’d love to see some of you guys spend a day sorting or delivering mail. I mean it’s so easy a trained monkey could do it. 😂
I had to sort mail when it was my turn in the military when a 141 or C5 came in, wasn't fun .

Years ago we had an Australian Shepard that we got at weaning age, and kept her whole life. She was a great, loyal dog, and extremely intelligent. One example was she and the beagle next door, we lived out of town, and they just ran free, would meet early in the morning, and go together into the wheat field across the road. The beagle had been run over, and was crippled in his hind quarters, and not able to run very fast. He would trail a rabbet and jump it, then the Shepard would catch it, and they would split it for breakfast! Shorty, named for her tail, never was agressave towards anyone, she would escort strangers to the door, sit down on the porth while they rang to door bell, and escort them back to their car if we were not home. For some reason she HATED the UPS Truck, and driver! She would start barking before I could even hear the truck coming down the road, I suspect one of them had pepper sprayed her, but what ever it was, she would likely bite them given the chance!

We're not allowed to carry pepper spray at work.

If your dog ever bites someone, I hope you have good home owners insurance!!!

I have a dog and UPS story.
Back when I was just a young chap, we had a little mixed-up terrier type of dog (our best guess) and my dad as a joke named her Duchess. She was about the scraggliest looking dog but she was also the smartest dog we ever had. Duchess obeyed my father without question (thought the world of him) and somebody must have got after that dog with a broom as a puppy because if my mother reached for a broom, Duchess took off like a shot, looking for somewhere to hide.
Well one day the brown truck pulled up and my older brother had been waiting and waiting on an order from Gander Mountain. He ran to the door and met the UPS driver -- who had an item from J.C. Penney that my mom had ordered.
Duchess knew the UPS man and was laying there, not paying much attention.
When my brother said he was disappointed it wasn't his package, the driver said "That's all I've got today. Maybe tomorrow."
My brother said "Well I'll be." Then he turned to Duchess and said "Sic him, killer!"
I don't believe that little dog moved a muscle.
The UPS man was laughing so hard, he stumbled across the porch and was still laughing as the truck pulled away.
