USPSA Classifier Match / Drawing / prizes

Ok this is in the works but still a few months off and I would like to get everybody's opinion on this.

maybe in September or October, having a 5 stage classifier match and one field course. $20.00 to $25.00 and having some drawings for something like a custom Kydek holster from a local holster maker (competition type drop holster) and maybe some cast bullets (2000 to 3000) maybe broken up in boxes of 500 to 1000, plus some other stuff from some local businesses. Basically everybody would receive a ticket at signup and we would pick the winners after the match.

So how does this sound? is the price too high?

Would most people rather see 4 classfiers, 2 field courses? 5 classifiers, 1 field course or 6 classifiers?

please chime in. We want to know what the shooters want.

If you set a good weekend for it, the 4 classifiers will be all the draw you need for it.

Agreed, although I'd be happy with 5 classifiers too.

Well the raffle is so that we could raise some more money for better props / pop up type tents for shade, etc...

We only charge $10.00 per match and that just doesn't leave much money for extras.

4 classifiers and 2 field courses. Would $20 be enough after paying the mission count to make the club any money? I wouldn't worry about a prize table. Let's shoot!

Charge $15 or $20. Forget the prize table unless the prizes are donated. Where in SE Kansas?

GreAt idea. I'll be there for sure if it doesn't interfere with a bunch of other matches.
My vote is for $25 4 qualifiers and prizes.
$5 more isn't going to deter shooters.
Only 4 qualifiers so we can shoot some other stuff too.

It's all good. I could use the classifiers since I just started shooting IPSC.
