Don't forget that Thursday is Veterans Day. If you're able please seek out a veteran and give them a hug, shake their hand or pat them on the back and say welcome home or thank you. For me it's a genuine privilege to look a veteran in the face and tell them they are appreciated. I don't know who it makes feel better, them or me. There's still time for a card or a gift for a favorite veteran who may live some distance away from you.

Also, Applebee's is giving all Active Duty and Vets free lunch. Take your mil ID or DD214 with you and have a free lunch.

Coming from a Vet, there has been no better reward/feeling than someone telling me thank you! Don't get it very often, but when it happens it's hard to describe how truly good it feels! So, here's my thanks going out to all those that have said thank you! You are truly appreciated!

I tried that last year and the only stipulation is you have to eat there. I tried to get a to go order, and they made me pay full price. Just a heads up for you guys.

Yeah I took thursday and friday off before I start the new job. Me and the kiddo are going to applebees for lunch. Thanks to all my fellow Vets for everything and thanks to you all of you let us know we are appreciated. We all appreciate your support!
