Anybody go to this today? was wondering about the turn out for it and how big a show it actually was... I live here in Vinita and didn't know about it until too late! seems like there wasn't publicity for a really good show/auction.

I was there. Very few empty tables. Lots of people through the door and most bought something. One person was noticed walking out with 3 AR's that he purchased so I guess there were a few deals to be found. Wife and I did pretty good with knives and knife sharpening and also sold lots of odds and ends.

There were probably 150 registered bidders for the auction. They sold about 125 guns. A lot of the guns went for fair prices but some were pretty crazy. I managed to pick up a neat 12ga coach gun and a Norinco 1911 for 3 bills each. Thought I did pretty good. They're both keepers!

I don't agree with the prices and won't pay them myself. Unfortunately everybody is trying to get rich at the moment, except me. A lot of the vendors/dealers I talked to weren't to happy with their sales. I refrained from telling them what I thought about the high prices they had marked.
If they want to sell their goods, guns, ammo or whatever, they will have to offer reasonable prices.

I figured that it would be like that. But unfortunately as long as there are people willing to pay crazy money they will continue to give crazy prices...
