Anyone can assume I like that motor since I've had 4 Vipers...but I would have picked a different platform (lots of light Dodge cars from the same era...)
Also, a 3.70 rear is way low for that motor in that light body. One thing is for sure, it'll be unique and what a great amount of ingenuity!

I like Mavericks, and I like Vipers, but I've never been one for "mix and match" powerplants from different manufacturers. Pretty cool anyway, though. Mavs are cool as they are like a mini-Torino. Always wanted to stuff a 351C in one.

steve, remember rob dowers dads maverick. coffee brown, black vinyl top, 5 inch wide biased ply tires with a 302 in it. opened a few eyes around town when we knocked off a camaro or two. ah, the good ol days. always liked the mavericks myself.
Sounds like a "Grabber". They had a 302 in them with the two air intakes on the hood.
nope, this sucker was as plain jane, ugly as you could get. i think rob told me his dad ordered it that way.
I had one grabber with a factory plain hood.
Mom had a maverick I can remember being buckled in the back seat when she raced it on saturday nights.
