Well, I won't say one way or the other what is right or wrong, but the counter to this is that IDs cost money, and thus require someone to pay a fee (for an ID) to vote. Just food for thought.

I presented my drivers license once and the lady behind the table said "I can't read that, the letters are too small. Just find your name on the list and sign."

I had the sheet of paper printed out for my voting registration. I'm sorry, I'm an idiot. I got out late from work and I did not make it there on time. I got there at 07:20, I couldnt find anyone to let me in that door, there was no car outside. I was mad as heck. My wife went to vote this morning and she said she didnt have to wait in line.

Voter ID's cost nothing(well, not exactly for the smartass' out there) and the state question 746 that looks to pass tonight says a voter id card is good enough......food for thought.
