Just checked my local POS walmart on the 16 ga. No discount. Yeah, its 26% of MSRP, but that is their shelf price and has been for years. Other stores elsewhere have stock and it's cheap. Our store is worthless.

Our POS walmart got caught twice setting .22 ammo under the counter for their "special clients" when the big shortage was going on. The paintball section has more inventory than the hunting aisle. What's on the hunting aisle is total junk.
The local Atwoods has really stepped up their game in the sporting goods dept. They have everything walmart doesn't and it's not the china cheap stuff.

I agree. I was trying to find a reason to drive to Norman yesterday to pick up some of their .22lr they have on sale. By no means am I running even remotely low on .22, but excellent prices per 50rd box right now.

Atwoods is selling their aquila .22 HV 40 grain in 50 round boxes for .03 cents a round starting Wednesday.

LOL, I don't remember. I get early notifications of the weekly Atwoods ads so I can save up my shekels before the sales start.
