... I've gone in with app at the ready only to have an associate or manager tell me the app can't be trusted.

Since the info comes straight from Walmart.com, I would say that Walmart.com in general can't be trusted.

Just got back from Ada WM, no .223 in stock although the app is updated now showing no stock. They do have one evil looking Sig M400 there.
