there's this cool thing on the radio.. it's called a dial. even cooler, a power button
You might revisit New Orleans, post-Hurricane Katrina, 2005.
Two things you can count on: if the government requires firearms to be turned into the authorities, 99% will do what they're told and cough them up, no matter how tough they talk on internet forums. And if National Guard troops are ordered to confiscate weapons, round up civilians, or fire on "dissidents", 99% of them will do exactly as they are told. Let's not kid ourselves; there's nothing like past precedent to reinforce that prediction. Not sure, but I'd bet a large percentage of LEOs would do the same.
what would prevent guard troops from another state? surely they wouldn't have soldiers disarming their home towns.
Current Oklahoma law prevents this. Even in a state of emergency.
They will stop when they start having to shooting law abiding citizens.
I believe that in my heart.
So what are the possibilities Patrick? Maybe it'll be the blue hats? Maybe it'll be the local cops or national gaurd but Lawd I hope not... How about this: have you ever considered the possibility that maybe it'll be no one? What would it be like if nobody ever came for your guns? What if you've indulged these fevered dreams so long that you NEED sombody to come for your guns? I hope you can be prepared in your head for none of these things to happen. Scary world isn't it?
