Anyone who plays a lot of poker knows that tempers can flare among players from time to time. A friend in Tulsa told me about attending big games with his father-in-law to watch and learn. I have two german shepherd puppies that aren't fully grown yet (almost 8 months) and I find it quite humorous the level of deterrent they are to people in general. Knowing that they are big ol' cuddly teddy bears. But also Glock it up just in case

A dog and a gun are a potent self-defense combination. A German Shepherd walking companion is probably a better deterrent from criminal assault than a concealed pistol that comes into play after someone starts an assault. They will choose a victim that doesn't have a dog.

Bad guys have always been armed. They never cared about the laws.

Only people that follow the law comply with the law. CC has no effect on criminals that carried before CC took effect. If they are a felon, CC has no effect, they are still breaking the law.
