I always sell my gun at what I paid. And have a separate handling and storage fee. yuk yuk yuk
Probably gun auction. Have been to quite a few of them. All on the up & up, 4473 FFL stuff etc. That’s a great question. I also have a friend that has 1000 plus firearms in his collection. We’ve talked extensively about how he is going to dispose of his collection. Right now I don’t have an answer.
Yeah, but it's been a long time since anyone here has talked about the benefits of the five inch fifty fours over the five inch thirty eights now that the Navy has selected the 57mm Mk 110 for it's new ships. This is a gun forum?
Hell, even I can't figure that out.How do they know what I made or lost on a sale?
Hell, even I can't figure that out.
Just like I'm supposed to pay the city taxes on something I sold at a garage sale that I have already paid taxes on.Hell, even I can't figure that out.
Think about paying sales tax on a 1973 M19 that has being sold in a pawnshop. Probably been bought and sold 10 times and had sales tax paid on it every time.Just like I'm supposed to pay the city taxes on something I sold at a garage sale that I have already paid taxes on.
Again. with emphasis,
I would guess that the rules of the ATF are directed toward law-abiding gun owners and not toward the drug addict who steals a gun fro a car or wherever and then sells it to someone that is questionable on the street?
Legal gun owners are relatively harmless insofar as infractions of the law but the addicts not so much.
