Made the mistake once of pulling my travel trailer thru Dallas on I-35. There was construction in all the worst places. Still don’t know how I managed to get thru undamaged. Well the trailer. Underwear was destroyed. 
If I have to go that way, we take I-35W over by Fort Worth instead of through Dallas.

Take the old highway
Would have been cheaper than gas to just ship through FFLs...not to mention that time wasted.
What's taking you to Glen Rose? I've got a cousin there. We're back and forth fairly frequently.
