Obviously you have some bad juju going on with those other calibers. Perhaps they are cursed or something. If so, if you sold them, the curse would transfer on to whatever you purchase with the money. It would be best if I just took your guns and reloading components off your hands in order to get the bad spirits out of your house. You will find yourself much more relaxed and will rest better.

I'm like a lot of you guys. When I first started out reloading, I couldn't keep from buying all sorts of dies, equipment, and material. Every reloading book I could find, I picked up. After awhile I paired down my reloading activity to .45, .357, .380, and 20 gauge shotshell, which is what I mainly shoot now. Got rid of most of my rifles some time back, as I simply couldn't shoot them anymore

I’ve used to load for a bunch of calibers but have cut back to mainly 38, 308, 270 win, and 9.3x74r. I still have dies and components for a bunch more but no desire to go back down the road of loading for them again.
I left out that I do load for 12 ga, 20 ga, and 410.
What’s your go-to recipe for 410? I’m getting into 410 and 20ga loading, buckshot recipes specifically.

What’s your go-to recipe for 20ga? I’m trying to get into loading 20 & 410, buckshot varieties specifically, but am looking at anything that patterns well.

I’m just getting started with 410 and only doing it to load tungsten for turkey hunting, and the only 20 ga I do is target loads for shotgun games. I’m planning to load tungsten for my 20 too.

LOL

given our meet up a couple of months back when you graciously relieved me of a few pounds of powder and brass--- you might surmise i am roughly in the same boat

Tired of keeping up with too much. That said , i was cleaning out a storage locker in my office and found a couple more jugs of 231 and some large pistol primers -- this prompted me to purchase a .45 Colt Blackhawk. I had to.
As your thread title attests - It is a sickness

I have a butt load of guns I don't shoot anymore, but other than rimfire have all the components to reload more if wanted.
I go on reloading binges. 2-3K .45, .223 and so on, so there is a major surplus in the ammo bunker (4 drawer file cabinet) and a large shelf of brass ready to prep.
Keeping them all for a reason. When the time comes as it will with all of us, the sons get the proceeds from the estate sale of all my sporting goods. Nothing goes for sale before then other than maybe a few small items.

Thank goodness. I thought maybe you’d eaten McDonald’s or something instead of whatever you’d killed in the backyard.
Funny you say that.
The McDonalds over here will give you the runs. I have not eaten at any of their places in many years.

I have eaten back yard and front yard critters many times though so you nailed it. :)
