Not sure if that is a dig at me or not, but MOST of their leadership are lawyers. My understanding is Fred Phelps was a great lawyer and helped many, many underprivileged people. He was a pioneer in civil rights cases in Kansas. Then he went crazy.

By the way, I'll be holding services soon.

My brother in law spent hours prank calling them on their cell phones and at home. It was pretty hilarious. Many members were pretty angry and almost hung up on them until he would say "...wait one second, do you still live at _____, with your daughter Sarah, age 8?" You could hear the shock in them and their attitudes became less FU to "how do you know..." They live by fear, let them live with fear for a while, I would imagine it would be pretty scary having all that personal info published out there for everyone to see.
