Legislatively speaking instead of a 1000 or 2000 ft perimeter make it 5 miles,no protesting of any kind at a funeral, procession or wake unless you are five miles away,$50,000 funeral protest permit or more.
there is no reason to protest at a funeral, its wrong and everyone here knows it,there is absolutely no justification for what THIS group is doing period.
These people are not doing gods work, they're doing the work of the
INSANE.
I. Know alot of you guys have fought for our freedoms but this doesn't fall in that category in my eyes,.

Unreasonable distance, and unreasonable fee on the right to protest.

I'm seriously not trying to be a d!ck, but much like any thread involving them, with each new indexable thread WBC wins somewhere. There's always someone somewhere that is misguided in some way and will find his new family with more information spread.

I have a feeling this may be the last protest they get to make. The last time they were here in Oklahoma the police told them next time they would have no protection and would be one their own, I'm sure hoping MO's LEO's do the same thing.

All of the stores, restaurants, hotels, motels, gas stations, etc... should refuse them service. Then what would they do if they were far from home with no fuel to leave and no food to sustain them?
When they got thier tires slashed in McAlester what would they have done if those crackerheads at wal-mart would not have sold them tires or if the wrecker service would not have towed them to the wal-mart? I would have left thier sorry arses stranded!!

They do exist.

What's killing this country is people who want to legislate the physically harmless public activities of others. You can say anything is wrong, but if you try to legislate where I'm allowed to protest you'll meet opposition. I think when Fred Phelps dies his own funeral will be protested, and his family won't be able to do a damn thing.

If you don't like the WBCs protests (which, of course, none of us do), then counter them with your own legal public activity that mirrors theirs.
