First of all, these people are not Christians. The are hate-filled sociopaths. They brainwash their members, and start them when they are young. They make their living off of 1st Amendment court cases, and they usually win. The head loser's (I refuse to call him a pastor) daughter is their chief counsel, from what I've read. Sooner or later, they will get theirs.

Guys I'm really scared for these people. First let me say that I'm not religious but am a devout Christian. I believe that what Westboro church stands for and the signs they hold are the very same people that give Christianity a bad name. The reason that I'm scared for these guys is that this last fall I attended a funeral they were to be attending. I served this great nation for 8 years so the death of a soldier hits home with me. As I stood outside the church awaiting their arrival I wondered how much I would take before my wife would have to come bail me out. Well they never showed. I'm glad because I was fully prepared to beat someone like they stole something. My Christian beliefs couldn't suppress the anger I have for these people. My fear is that they will be in the wrong place at the wrong time and there will be a loss of a few lives. I typically wouldn't care but they have their children out there with them.

I usually reserve throwing out this attitude, but they ask for it. Part of me thinks that they don't believe any of the crap that spews out of their mouth and that it's all just a show for publicity, but they continue on and in my opinion, are asking for whatever they receive.

As far as the children go, I do agree with you.

Remember the parents who had Wal Mart make their 6,7,8 (whatever) year old son a Hitler and/or swastika cake for his birthday? Didn't DHS step in and put the kid and his siblings under protective custody? Where's DHS at in this case?

These people are not Christians! They use Christianity so that they are protected by the first amendment while they spew their hate speech. The grownups deserve whatever they get.

As for the children, they sadly don't have the option to choose who their biological parents are, I just pray that they grow up and realize how crazy their parents and their "ideas" are.
