nice choice and good luck with the quest!

Really wish I had not sold my #1 in 45/70 a few years back, but I just built a new Encore with a .308 target barrel so I am hoping that scratches my single shot itch.

if not I will also be on the lookout for a #1 next year , - just not in 45/70. I fired it maybe three times at the Wellington center with Factory ammo, and then quietly put it back in its range bag never to be touched again until the day I sold it - kicked worse than a mule

I would like a HK VP9 sk, 9mm. HK has a $200 promo going right now if bought before 12/31/2023. Hmmm!
But . . .there are around 15 different variations available. Too many choices. Probable will settle for the black, green night sites, optic ready, 3 mags.
Anyone need a CZ 75D PCR?

There's really only one gun I'm still looking for,,,
And I hope I never find one because,,,
I have enough guns!

But seriously, I would love to have one more rimfire/centerfire pair,,,
I would love to find a S&W Model 45 in .22 LR,,,
To pair with my 4" S&W Model 12.

For the better part of 28 years I amassed firearms that caught my eye,,,
In my old age I've gifted many of them away to friends,,,
I really don't "need" any more guns.

But I've been lusting after a Model 45 for so very long,,,
If one appeared on Gunbroker at a good price,,,
I would probably have to snap it up.
