Prednizone to be precise. I've been on it for my Ulcerative Colitis and to be honest, it hasn't been doing enough with this particular relapse until just recently.

Now I want to eat an entire cow's worth of steak at all the wrong times but the good news is that after loosing 37Lbs, I'm actually gaining a healthy amount back.

Here's what it started out as:

did you know you have green and black olives on that?

Hell Yeah! There's no such thing as too many olives (green or black). Or too much cheese!

Half Chicken/Pesto pizza, half pepperoni / sausage pizza (should have thrown some of the Canadian bacon I have on that half).

Be careful with the prednizone, if you are on it or too long you'll get a moon face.

Been there many a time man. Head swells up, but its all part of the Ulcerative Colitis process.

I've had the disease since 95 (I was actually one of the youngest known cases at the time) and while I usually end up in remission for 2 or so years, I end up with a bad relapse requiring serious hospitalization every 4 years or so (every other time, they just prescribe Prednizone and I pull through).

The steroids have a number of other nasty side-effects. I've already lost a blood vessel to my left hip a few years back which is going to require a hip replacement, but that won't happen for a few more years (doesn't really bother me too often).

What the steroids don't do, the disease takes care of since its an auto-immune disease and gets my body's immune system down and makes me susceptible to infections and all sorts of other good stuff.

But I enjoy life in between the relapses and right now, I'm enjoying the heck out of this super-pizza.
