What happens at 8:30PM when you're on steroids

I do that too. I'll do the same with dill pickles. Sometimes my wife will walk into the living room and I'll be sitting on the couch with one of those big empty pickle jars taking swigs out if it....

I do this too. I actually sometimes use it when I get a stomachache. It's like sometimes i have too little acid in my stomach, so a glass of dill juice helps.

You know, I honestly didn't even see that one coming. Here I am baking up some more stuff. Its my fort'e apparently.

Pizza was delicious. Still got some left over so I'll probably eat it for lunch and dinner today.

Stupid Prednizone ruins the taste of everything so I have to add a ton of extra flavor to everything (hence the crap-load of olives, sauce, and pepper/garlic on this particular pizza).

Chips and Salsa are a staple because its one of the only things that overwhelm the bad steroid taste that is constantly embedded in my taste-buds.

Drink a lot of supe-strong Kool-Aid, Tang, and Lemonade too. Can't wait to get off this crap (its been 14 days of Prednizone, a week of IV Solumedrol, and after I got out of the hospital, now over 2 more weeks of Prednizone, I'm ready to be done with steroids for a while).

OMGosh ... bless your heart ... my little anti-inflammatory that upsets my stomach and muscle relaxant that makes me sleep for 2 hours three times a day don't look so bad right now ...

I am having a hard time typing a reply cause I can't stop laughing at this thread. you guys are nuts! RWS, you should have married the olive girl. Any girl that can do that is special.

Gluten-free Bisquick Pizza mix. That's another issue - apparently Ulcerative Colitis is closely tied to Celiac disease and I've got some cross-over issues with gluten that have only really become severe in the past few years and now I can't have friggin real bread.

I seriously wish I was making some of this stuff up or was a hypochondriac. I ignore all of these issues until they get bad enough that I have to address them and then wait to hear my doctor tell me how rare my case is each new time (he's learned not to ignore anything I say when I tell him about some weird new symptom I'm having).

Meh - life's little treats I guess - I don't let it get me down. I'm pretty blessed overall with my family, friends, and life outside of a few health problems.

You know... I've got some Blue and Gold Bacon in the fridge too - should have chopped up some of that and put it in with it.
