What percentage of Oklahoma Residents hunt?

I was thinking today about how many people that live in Oklahoma actually purchase hunting licenses. I was thinking around 15% of Oklahoma's population?

Does anyone know?

Just a random thought that crossed my mind today.

Just did a little research and it looked like we have about 7% hunters in the state. That sounds low. Maybe someone else has better info.

If you could exclude OKC and Tulsa I bet it would be but when the majority of people are in the cities they don't have exposure to hunting. Growing up in the panhandle way more than 15% hunt or are in someway involved in hunting. But when I went to college way less than 15% of the students there were involved, and the same thing once I moved to the city.
