I once broke one into small pieces and put it in my regular trash a little at a time. It was in a very nasty town regarding what you could throw away. Their landfill was ten bucks per use, and that was during a time when $10 was more than hour's work for most folks.
If you do this, use safety glasses and cover the whole thing with a cloth to prevent porcelain shrapnel.

Take it to a range and shoot it. Pick up pieces when sufficiently sized and put in your trash.
Clean it up a bit. Take it up to Home Depot and hoist it into a buggy. Leave the buggy in the parking lot. It doesn't take long but someone else will come pick it up. The other option is put it on Craigslist under "free" stuff.
Donate it to Habitat for Humanity in Tulsa, get a charitable donation tax deduction.
Does Tulsa trash service not have a Bulk pick up day? OKC does but anytime I put something out the Mexicans get it before morning
