My first CC weapon was a SCCY CPX1. If my mind serves me correctly I payed about $269 for it. I really did not have any belief it was going to be a great firearm because of the cheap price. In college it was all I could afford. However, after firing 250 rounds of anything and everything, it became a great little pocket pistol for me. I still have it to this day. My only complaint was the safety. With a double action trigger, I find no need for a manual safety. The company has since redesigned the pistol and it is now available with and without a manual safety.

Glock 19 Gen 2.

Now it is a M&P Compact in .357 Sig or .40 S&W depending which barrel I use.

I am still looking for the ultimate "pocket" gun to carry.

Sig 239 in .40 S&W. Shot great and was stone cold reliable. Sold it because a glock is just as reliable, weighs less, and carries more ammo. Ooh and no stupid double/single trigger.

This is her,,,
She shoots .22 shorts only,,,
The front sight fell off right after I bought it.

I actually carried it in my jacket pocket for several years,,,
It was a different world back then in rural Oklahoma.

I bought this thing at a garage sale in 1966? for $5.00,,,
I was 15 years old at the time and dumb as a stump.

I told my dad I took the front sight off so it would clear my pocket faster,,,
He said, "That's a good idea son. When someone takes it away and shoves it up your ***, it won't hurt nearly as much coming back out."

I found this gem a few years back in a box of stuff that's been in my sister's attic since I went into the Air Force in 1970.
