Whatever happen to Trumps proposal on legalizing suppressors without permit?

The hearing protection act has been within a week or so of being approved and then a mass shooting occurs days before.
Politically it would be suicidal to support a good gun issue after those events.
It will come up again. Let’s hope for the best.
I read that Mitch McConnel had the bill for the hearing act on his desk and he wasn't going to let it go nowhere

I agree to everyone that says it’s unconstitutional, bs, etc. The only shining light here is suppressors have gotten fairly inexpensive and tax stamps are coming back quick. You can get into a rimfire suppressor with stamp for under $300 and have it on your weapon in a couple months. Much better than it was 10 years ago imho
