I almost never prefer remakes, but this is definitely the exception.

Yes. S&G Sounds of Silence was always a favorite....until I heard the Disturbed version.....it's mesmerizing to me.

Since y'all are talking about remakes of old classics how about this one. Simple Man is probably my all time favorite song from back in the day and I never thought I'd like anyones version of it other than Skynyrd, that was until this rendition was released.

There is another one I cannot stand but it isn't by this group. I cannot remember the name but it is an Irish song? When I hear the first few bars of it I have the same turn off the radio reaction. Horrendous to my ears.
