It looks like a magazine catch part to me but I have all my guns working and nothing is missing. There is a hole in the cone shaped end.

It looks similar to a Sig 55x series bayonet adaptor.

I know it is not but it looks similar to a diamond dressing tool to dress a grinding stone.
Offset of course and missing the diamond part that is in the tip.

Sorry just seen one in use today at the cam shop truing the tappet grinder stone.
