I have that problem when I'm viewing OSA on my iPad or Windows 8 tablet. On the iPad I keep tapping in the area of the "full screen" control on the video until I find it.

On the video itself, I think it says more about the dangers of not being prepared (ie, lacking situational awareness) and the tactical advantage of surprise than it does about being armed being pointless. Situational awareness is always good, and will help you avoid injury even when you're not in a confrontation; if I'd had more of it the other day, I wouldn't have a nasty bruise on the back of my thigh. Stupid plow.

But the point was it extends you time to react.
