Where can a felon get a job?

what about one of the trades? does he have any skills? what are his expectations money wise??

Plumbing, Farming, oil field. His expectations are to get back to work and make a living. He is not expecting to get rich. Just make enough to survive at this stage of the game.

I can come up with one. But I got that info from "Mouth Full of Rocks" and "Inside the Foreign Legion" both novels written by former Legionaires. French citizenship comes along with an successful enlistment. He could completely start a new life; he is young enough. A life perhaps better than here. A new identity, a new past, and a new future.

Let me put a call into my friend who is an ex-felon. I met him at Church and he regularly holds bowling nights that a lot of people attend.

I know that he went into business for himself as a mechanic.

I have known a few felons and your limited to fast food joints (ever wonder why your order is wrong? Yep there high) , construction ( usually just laborers, painters, framers etc.) and tattoo artist lol he is good though..

So would have to get passport, visa, and a plane ticket or ride to a port to catch a boat.

Another option would be to get on a ocean going fishing vessel. Hard work and would have to get to a port with a lot of opportunities but might be another option. Could also find some large farming/ranch operations and see about getting a job that way. Otherwise find a local mechanics shop or other outfit. My guess is that the better the desired pay the farther/harder your friend will have to work.

Can also work your google fu a little and search for work opportunities for felons.
