Where did you buy your first gun.

My first was actually a purchase my dad did for me at the old Gibson's store on SE 29th in Del City. Had saved allowance and odd job money (was 12 year old) and bought a Remington Model 1100 in 20Ga. $113 before taxes....... 1965 (I think)..

mine was also at a Gibson's department store in McAlester Ok. I was also 12 and carried it out myself. H&R Topper 12 (damn that thing kicked!)

KMart--Marlin Glenfield model 60, .22 rifle. I think it was $39.99. Still have it.

First gun-Ruger 10-22 of 1980's vintage that dad gave me in around '97 or 98

First one i bought myself- about '99 or '00 was a 870 express 12g wood stock from academy in katy, texas where we lived at the time....grand parkway and I-10....cost $205.64 still have the receipt. Dad did the paperwork. mom loaned me 5 bucks to make sure i could cover tax. pushed lawn mower to get it paid in ones, fives and tens lol

First one i bought all by myself- used winchester 120 pump 12g for a fathers day present for my dad...his old Coast to Coast Stores pump quit working season before. its fixed now tho

I didn't get into guns until I was an adult. My first was a Ruger P95 from Soutwest Shooters Supply in OKC. Still have it.

Remington 870 Express Magnum @ WalMart in Poway, California in 1995. I think it was $160 on lay-away. Its been re-blued twice and needs it again.

I'd just gotten my first duck dog, Cinco the Lab (my avatar), and was determined to give him a full life. So I needed my first gun. Shot a crap load of ducks with that gun. Oh how I miss hunting the Colorado River with 'ol Cinco (RIP buddy).

My first gun was purchased in October or November of 2010 as an early B-Day present from my gf. Mossberg Maverick $140 at EZ-Pawn in Norman

2nd gun last weekend of Nov. 2010 at a gun show on the fairgrounds. NIB Compact XD .40 $525 and then a week later I purchased a used XD 9mm off the forum. I caught the bug...
