Which gun for hog hunting....

I like to go one of two ways.

Mafia style = Ruger MKII behind the ear...from a tree.

Old school...really old school = Punt gun.

Have only killed two over the years, a 100 pounder and a 318 pounder. Killed both with a .280 rem and both dropped instantly. Bought a .458 SOCOM upper for my AR, loaded up some 405gr soft points, got it sighted in and haven't been hog hunting since. That was three years ago.
