So I took this to piss off some redcoats on a G-Shock group. Might as well post it here because it's what I'm wearing.

Here's the Frederique Constant...
it should work on it, he even lists mw25 in the description. If it does not work, call them up.

Ordered another watch from mimos. They are great. I highly recommend them. They responded to my email, and fixed my order within 10 minutes at 8 something pm their time on a Friday night.
I've been looking at their website a lot but they just don't have anything that appeals to me that much (in my price range). They have a couple of Seiko chronographs on clearance that are a little bit tempting, but I just have absolutely no need for a chrono. It looks like with the 25% off code you can get about anything for comparable savings to the clearance pricing.

I'm leaning hard toward trying a Tissot. Does anyone know a place similar to the mimos site to recommend that carries Tissot, or best way to get one?
How do you pronounce Tissot anyways?? :pms2:

It's pronounced Tee-So.

I'm not aware of any authorized dealers that carry Tissot with anything close to the 25% discount that Mimos offers on their brands. Jomashop has some decent deals, but they're not an AD and you have to be diligent about checking their estimated shipping time or you may be in for a long wait. Macys is an option too. They have sales codes that apply to watches fairly regularly.

Huntington Jewelers is an AD for Tissot, so you can at least handle the watch in person before ordering anything online.

Dillards carry’s Tissot but the selection is so-so. They do have a couple basic 1853’s with black or blue dials. This is at Quail Springs. Dillards at Penn Square is listed as a Hamilton dealer. Might have to go lay eyes on a few.

I FOUND MY WATCH!!! I figured it would show up eventually, but probably not until I bought another one. The irony is, I looked under the bed because the last thing I do before going to bed every night is take my watch and glasses off and put them on the dresser, and I vaguely remembered taking my watch off and putting on the dresser, but keeping my glasses because I was going to read in bed for a while. So when it turned up missing, I looked under the bed just in case and noticed it was VERY dirty. So this morning, I was cleaning under the bed and found it. It had to have come off when I was changing the sheets a few days ago, which means it was missing all afternoon and I never noticed. I wouldn't have found it under the bed, except I had looked under the bed and was cleaning because it was so dirty. LOL

Appreciate the guidance, but I won't have to order one after all. FWIW, I had all but decided on a Tissot PRX based completely on @thor447 recommendation earlier in this thread. I'm perfectly happy with my Seiko though, so no plans to order anything else. FWIW, I thought it was an automatic, but turns out it's solar. But I still find myself wanting to look at that clearance page on the Mimo website... :pms2:

Jomashop has a few different PRX models for as cheap as $265 currently. The quartz with the silver dial and PVD gold accents might be something that you'd like. The wife doesn't have to know that you found the Seiko...😉
