Jomashop has a few different PRX models for as cheap as $265 currently. The quartz with the silver dial and PVD gold accents might be something that you'd like.

I did look at their website and that was one of the ones I liked. I was struggling between the quartz and powermatic, I like not having to replace a battery but my impression from reading is that quartz is more accurate? Or is there any significant difference?

It's hard to find accuracy ratings on specific models of watches, but I found one for some Seiko I looked at that said 15 seconds a month + or - is typical, and I found one for a Tissot that said .3 minus to .5 seconds plus per day. My very poor OSU graduate level math says .5 seconds per day works out to about 15 seconds per month. The VAST majority of watches I looked at, I couldn't find specific info. I was kind of concluding that accuracy wasn't a big factor in the decision. Tissot was leading based on recommendation in this thread, and just some desire to have something differrent.

Unless you are specifically wanting an automatic, I'd just go with the quartz. The PRX Powermatic that I received in trade from thor447 seems to run approximately -0.5 -to -1 SPD, which is as good as you can hope for for any non-quartz regulated movement.

Depending on the size of your wrist, there's a chance that you may prefer the 35mm. I'd definitely recommend handling the quartz and Powermatic versions and trying on both sizes over at Huntingtons before purchasing anything.

Sorry @Aries...I just saw that you're in Sapulpa. Moody's should stock Tissot at their stores in the Tulsa area.
No problem, I had googled up a couple of places in Tulsa that are supposed to have them. I could have planned a trip to Stillwater and made my sister buy me lunch. That's not easy, but I always enjoy the challenge. Not really planning to buy another watch now that I found my Seiko, but it's several years old and all this info will be very useful when I do have to replace it.

Some yard work, dog time and barrel cleaning. What better than the Casioak!
