Which Watch are you wearing today?

Here’s the most recent project. I’m still working on putting the video together, but folks over on Patreon were given eight watches to choose from, and voted for this one to be next. It’s a quirky little watch, but surprisingly extremely comfortable. It’s got a curved undercut on the back side of the case and it really conforms to your wrist. I can hardly tell I’m wearing it. Most people don’t bother looking at what what you’re wearing. What I’m finding is that people who do are doing a double-take trying to figure out what the heck it is.

There was a bracelet that came with it that actually looks pretty good on it, but it’s a bit small for me.

The crazy thing is that I didn't even polish that watch. That polished finish you see is all original. This watch must have sat in a drawer for a few decades. The crystal had some scratches and a pretty good ding right in the dead center of it, but I was able to refinish it quite nicely. It looks basically brand new now. I wanted to go with the original crystal because it has quite a unique shaped tension ring in it that also has a polish to it, and is the chrome ring you see on the around the edge of the dial. Any replacement crystal I'd normally source would have a different profile to this tension ring and it wouldn't have looked the same. It even still had the blue protective tape on the case back which nearly came all off during the wash, but I was able to save part of it. The outside of the watch was in immaculate original condition.

The movement inside is quite nice as well.
