I passed on it the first time it came up and regretted it so I just happened to see it right after it was posted and it was off to the races.
Awesome watch. I hum hawed a little too long on that one. I’ll tell you that there was a series of PM’s going on behind the scene, we were all trying to decide who was going to take the plunge. Congrats on a nice watch!

Last post from the Dominican as we are headed home, mama splurged for Business Class upgrade so it was a nice surprise. Next time I will have another timepiece to display here so I won’t bore the elites to death with the same watch, those this modern Seiko did great in surf and sand for a week and I really like the silicon strap.

@TANSTAAFL , I’ve got the Mako with the meteorite dial in blue on today.
If anyone is looking, they still have some of the launch priced swordfish’s in stock. They are a Seiko NH35 movement but the fit and finish is superb. At 299-329, they are a very nice watch
Taking a second look at my photos the yellow lettering and yellow trimmed minute hand look far more vibrant in person. Do you find the same with yours?
