This one's not mine, but rather a Patreon supporter of my watch repair channel on YouTube. It's a beautiful 1970 Seiko 6106-7107, completely original and in remarkable condition. The original owner held onto it for 53 years before deciding to clear out some of his collection last year, which is when the current owner acquired it. There’s an interesting bit of history tied to this watch too: the original owner was friends with John Entwistle, the bassist for The Who, a friendship that spanned 29 years until Entwistle’s passing. He even shared a photo from 1976 showing him with Entwistle, proudly wearing this very watch. I can’t wait to get started on this one. The project begins tomorrow.
