Sorry for the off-topic post but am righting a terrible wrong on that crap photo of my 30+yr old riding jacket the other day and quickly snapped this photo before the damned hangar broke as it was already bowing and hook starting to straighten

, it is too heavy for any hangar and must be laid folded in closet, plus its weight added to other clothes on rod will bend or break any rod.

If anyone needs to add quick release spring bars to a strap, but doesn't want to spend $500 on the Bergeon tool, I've found a cheaper alternative on Amazon. Time will tell how many straps it will punch before it dulls, but it's been perfectly serviceable on the two straps that I've cut so far. The stiffer the leather, the cleaner it tends to cut. The Horween strap below is about as soft as you'll get and it still cut it pretty cleanly.
