Who all is waiting for their CCW?

Got my letter Friday.....144 days. But, I did have to submit 3 sets of prints.

wow that sucks

i'm on day 4 and it's killing me. i hope my prints will clear the first time

WOW!! What a big forum on this subject... I was fingerprinted 35 days ago and it has been a loooooong 35 days. Guess it's gonna be awhile before I get legal to carry..

they still haven't even charged my cc. submitted April 7th, guess that is only 17 days. I ain't near as patient as some of you guys. lol

Submitted my paperwork at the end of Feb. and had my credit card charged at the beginning of March. I'm hoping to have my permit by mid-May for a trip to the Colorado backcountry. Glad I opted for the 10 year term so I don't have to mess with this stuff again for a while.

ARGH! Just when I finally forget about my CCW, another thread pops up and reminds me how HARD the wait can be!!! Now I'm tapping my foot and biting my nails!

GOT IT! Virginia non-res permit arrived 5 weeks to the day from when my payment went through.

So is it indicitave of the process starting when they charge your credit card? I submitted my paperwork one week ago today and the charge went through this morning. I see people that didn't get their cards charged for weeks or a month. Am I getting overzealous about it or is this pretty standard for the 90-days?

And the wait begins..... got fingerprinted and turn in application today. Man this is going to be a long summer.

Anybody that has not turned in paper yet.... the Sheriff's sub-station in Quail Springs mall is great. Walked in and was out in 15 minutes.
