Gosh that sucks.... afraid I'll have to redo my prints, too. 7 days and counting....

Got my license today from the sherrif. Never received a call or letter and the license was issued the 2nd of this month.
Called them on a hunch.

Ditto, and that was 2 years ago. Guess things haven't changed much.
Incidentally, several people I have talked to have told me they had to go to OSBI HQ because their local Sheriff station was unable to get prints done there acceptable by OSBI. So what could be the problem down at the rural SO's???

Cherokee county has a fancy digital fingerprint reader at the county jail they use on you now a days. No problems on fingerprints for me at least.
Well, I had written a response, but reconsidered posting it here.
Let's just say that some local sheriff offices must either have defective equipment or are not properly trained in it's use. I personally know two people who had to finally go clear to OSBI to get good prints done, and I hear there are many more that have had to as well. Maybe CLEET can offer training in the use of the new electronic equipment to it's members ???
Gonna get to go pick mine up tomorrow! Called the sheriffs office today and they had it, I was coming in from stillwater though so I didn't get a chance to pick it up. I dropped my application off/got fingerprinted/ paid with money order on Oct. 14, so 2month and 1 day wait time all together.
Today is day 45! I guess that is at least half-way.
