Many do and many also leave their vehicles in the driveway unlocked. A few years ago, Moore PD reported that in a 1 month period over 100 people had guns stolen from their vehicles parked in their driveway.

There was a crime ring from Dallas that was coming up at night and just going house to house and pulling on door handles.
There still is. You see it posted all the time in the Nextdoor neighborhood app. Waaa, someone stole crap outta my car waaa. Yes it was unlocked but.... waaaa.

I've had a Vietnam veteran plate on my pickup for a few years.....like stated above you used to have to carry your regular Okla. tag in the vehicle also but not anymore.

Yeah they changed it so you aren't required to have the regular tag, but to be honest I never carried it with me anyway. I don't do stupid and as far as I was concerned having to carry the original plate, even though the STATE issued a specialized plate and has it on record, fit the definition of stupid.

To each his own. I never wanted one, some are cool, some are classy, some are funny, some are douchey.

We catch some meth head on cam or hear crying around town, fairly regularly, wandering around at night, checking car doors.
Wif's car stays in locked garage and it is still locked.
