It may just be his camera? I've seen many elk down in the area though. Actually had a pair of em sneak up on me while coyote hunting one morning!

Awesome. I think next year I'm gonna try to do the 'Tour de Meers' bicycle ride. I hear it rolls through the refuge as well, so that should be interesting. I just drove by this area on the way down to Wichita Falls last weekend. I could see what I assume was Mt Scott from I-44. Looked like a pretty neat area to check out sometime.
The lighting is just at that right point where it makes it look wierd. Makes me wish that stupid DoW would have drawn me to go "see" some of those elk. Beats driving to CO.
I want a deer tag for the place. I've seen some BIG bucks in the last couple weeks.
