"Panetta added that the leaks had potentially done “incredible damage to our nation’s security and our ability to do our job of protecting the nation. More importantly, it could jeopardize lives. For this reason, such leaks cannot be tolerated.”

Despite the fact that some OSA members think it is cool to see our national security and US assets abroad compromised, the problem is real and present.

I'm quite surprised that WikiLeaks hasn't been "mysteriously" taken offline and the owner hasn't yet taken a permanent leave of absence.

I am 110% against the leaking of any documents that could potentially put lives at risk.

I understand the damage they've done, but it seems like this damage is being played up for a lot more than it is by our Government and in a lot of cases, Wiki-Leaks has been doing plenty to keep the Government in check by exposing some of their scandals.

I'm all for keeping our nation's secrets secret when it comes to protecting our own, but our Government does a lot of damage to our men and women in combat that seems to be more and more difficult to get out in the open.

There are numerous stories where orders were given and good soldiers were left high and dry - there's way too much politics involved in making decisions now days rather than just good old soldiers who moved up the ranks and became real military leaders - that's never a good thing for our troops.
