What kind of habitat would sustain wild turkeys? A buddy of mine just bought some land and it is heavily wooded/brushy nearby but there is also some open area. We are thinking of trying to figure a way to plant some turkeys on his property but don't really want to do it if they are just going to die or move off his land for good.

Nice picture!

To the post about turkey habitat... No matter how much food there is if there isnt good roost trees the turkey wont hang around. Clean out most of the cedars within 75-100 yard radius from good tall oaks or cottonwoods. They dont like thick brush under there roost. They cant see if its safe to fly down.
