Looking to replace my wood stock with a synthetic one on my Model 70 LA. Does anyone have experience with swapping one, or opinions on a good brand to go with. Not really looking to spend a ton, maybe $250 max. Thanks for any input, Clint
In my opinion, cheap stocks are usually not worth messing with.
For a good fiberglass stock, look at McMillan or Manners.
For less $$ look at Bell & Carlsen or HS Precision.
The stock you select makes a difference, and so does proper bedding of the action.

Yeah I think B&C has one coming out called a Medalist Ultralight that I may seriously check into.
