With Sgammo, you pay the tax and they usually cut the shipping about 1/2 for in state purchases.

This was the deal i went with.
I don't even have an AR, or anything in .223/5.56, but I've considered laying in a few cases of this at this price, because sure as hell I'll end up with an AR at some point.
For the record, Wolf is a distributor, not a manufacturer, so they get ammo from anywhere and everywhere. They put it in their box and import it. I've seen their "black box" 7.62x39 made by two or three different manufacturers, from a couple of different countries.

WOLF ammunition is manufactured by Tulskiy Patronniy Zavod (Tula Cartridge Plant) in Tula, Russia. Also, Russia is the largest source of 7.62 x 39 ammo for AK 47 & SKS. Never had bad ammo from Wolf.
