XD or XD(m)????

So, I wanna spend some $$$ and get me a new gun. I have narrowed the field down to an XD or XD(m). I have shot an XD, but not a XD(m). Is the XD(m) really worth the extra money? Fit, feel and finish better on one? I know, I can go on the 'net and read all about them, but I want to hear from those of you that have held and shot both. Which one did you like better and why?

Primary use will be for competitions and classes. In 9mm.

I have owned both ! And I like both. Models ! Right now I own two, xdm 9's and one 40m that I might sell and try something different . They are accurate shooting pistols I think you will like either model
