XDm or XD?

Are XDm's pickier about the ammo you feed them than the regular XD's since they have a match grade barrel with tighter tolerences?
I'm trying to decide which way to go. Any info would be appreciated.

I have both.

I havent found anything that the XD or my subcompact XDM won't eat in .40.

I have an XD, and it has never so much as thought about giving me trouble. I don't think the M version would be any different. Just depends on what you want to do with it. Last I checked, the M version is only available with the duty size frame, so it is a bit larger for CCW.

i conceal my xdm just fine. i just had to find the perfect little space next to my roll
