My future son-in-law's truck got broke into.

The got his Pioneer Z2, Sirius, backup cam, bluetooth, db1200 and xbox. S/N on the Xbox is 116042784705. They probably got more but I'm not sure what all it was. He had DVD's, games, a fold down TV, freaking everything in there! He goes out on rig locations for up to 3 weeks at a time, so that's why all the stuff.

They seriously jacked up his truck getting this stuff out. He had a custom made speaker box that held alot of it (xbox, remotes, speakers, etc.) and they destroyed that, his dash and all the under dash wiring. Just the factory wiring repair is going to cost over $4K. All told with all the damage and stolen goodies he's out almost 10K.

They did this at night right in his driveway. They got in my daughter's car not 2 months ago and nabbed her GPS, again at night in the driveway. He lives in a fairly upscale neighborhood in Moore. If you have nice stuff you are a target. Watch you stuff!

Effin thieves. :fullauto:

Which neighborhood? Any guys he works with know where he lives? On a side note, my car was broke into on Tday a few years ago in Moore, but all they got were empty boxes lol. Never noticed the powered on GPS on the dash, but they got the box...

I had an 8 track stolen one year, (many years ago) and
always said that if I put any more acessory stuff in the vehicle, I'd get the removable that could be taken in the house at night.
Living in the country now, that doesn't seem to be that much of a priority.
May have to eat my words.

Sorry about the loss.

I know how he feels. I was visiting some friends in Waco and stayed at my buddies one night and someone needed my radio more than me. Left the 2 comps and camera lucky for me. I was able to get a new window before left. But did get to drive home talking and singing to myself. I hope they find something or someone.

I had the tailgate stolen off my ford truck recently while it was parked at work. Some how our team of security with all their cameras missed it also. Hard to believe a tailgate cost over 1600.00 to replace. The officer I spoke with said they had over 8 reports of other ford brand tailgates stole the same day in okc..
