We're looking at one specific example of one specific employee being disciplined for an ethical infraction that would go unnoticed at Fox News.

In a statement, MSNBC said its ethics policy bans journalists from making political contributions.

Trust me, if any of the Fox commentators donated to political campaigns, it would lead on every stations newscasts.If anything it's worse than that. The guy at MSNBC is admonished for something that would not have been an infraction at Fox. "ETHICS," rules. That kind of stuff. Plus the actual will to enforce them.
Olberman is a hypocrite. He lambasted the Fox news parent corp's owner for donations, then turned around and did the very same thing. Worse, he personally commented on the election as it was unfolding and before. Murdoch didn't do that.
So if you think Fox is unethical, then what do you think of MSNBC?
