He is a cousin on my dad's side. Dad said he flipped out while visiting Austin Texas a couple years ago. The family thought he may have been drugged by the way it occurred. Totally out if character for him. He sought treatment but apparently went nuts again and retired from the bench. His attorney Steven Jones was Murrah Bldg bomber Timothy Mcvey's attorney.

I saw this story pop up a week or so ago and I looked at my wife and said ‘How much do you want to bet he retires in the next few days and claims some illness?’ She didn’t take the bet.
